Introduction to Arduino

About: This introduction will give an overview of the Arduino community and get you started programming hardware. We will get to know the Arduino Uno microcontroller, various electronic components and sensors, and the Arduino Interactive Development Environment (IDE). By the end of this class, you will have written your first Arduino programs and watched hardware come to life. We’ll learn various forms of communication used with Arduino. Learn and create variables, functions, loops, and statements. Work with your classmates to send text messages between two Arduinos. We’ll then throw in some LEDs to learn a little bit of Morse Code! We'll continue to learn by integrating various sensors, buttons, and other hardware to create some really cool projects.

Class size is limited to 20 people on a first come, first serve basis. You must bring your own computer with the Arduino software (IDE) pre-installed, which can be found here:
